For bowl materials, walnut is the standard in regard to this line of pipes. Maple is much lighter in color, with light grain patterns, while oak can be coarse and more rugged. Briar is the choice material for any tobacco enthusiast's collection, having superior smoking properties due to its density and flavor. The briar version of this pipe is slightly smaller due to constraints of the material. Ask about live edge options!
