Inspired by the pipe of Bilbo Baggins, this fantasy pipe is ornamented with a hand carved leaf design in relief. This fully functional piece is ready for use or display.
Briar is the standard for pipe bowls. It has a deep tan-orange color with iridescent figure and birdseyes. It's the densest and most reliable bowl material by far, and is always my first recommendation. Cherry is also a good choice, and will darken in color to a deep red-brown with age. Maple is the lightest, with nearly invisible grain, where oak and ash have coarser grain patterns. Walnut is a deep brown color and is fit with a cherry or maple bowl insert.
Stripe stems can be walnut with maple stripes down the sides, or vise-versa. See replacement stems for pictures.
